Full Stack Developer – AI Marketplace

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential aerospace technology company building a groundbreaking marketplace platform. As the founding full-stack developer, you'll work directly with leadership to scale an MVP into a production system serving partner organizations. This is a high-ownership role on a small team where you'll ship features weekly and make architectural decisions that shape the platform's future.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the marketplace storefront, partner portal, and administrative tooling from the ground up
• Design and implement backend APIs and services including catalog management, partner onboarding, entitlements, and usage metering
• Integrate with mission platform systems for authentication, workflow orchestration, and deployment automation in close collaboration with engineering teams
• Develop connectors for third-party data providers and external systems
• Own quality end-to-end: write tests, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and implement monitoring solutions
• Ship production code weekly in a fast-paced, high-impact environment

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 4+ years of professional experience building and shipping full-stack products
• Proven experience with Sprint development methodology
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend development
• Solid backend experience in Python, Go, or Node.js
• Cloud-native development experience (GCP preferred): containers, Kubernetes, managed services, and infrastructure as code
• Expertise in API design, OAuth implementation, and multi-tenant authorization patterns
• Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows and tools
• Track record of shipping a zero-to-one product, ideally in marketplace, developer platform, or SaaS portal domains
• Comfort working on small teams with large scope and ownership
• Professional fluency in English

Preferred:

• Experience with billing integrations (Stripe or similar payment platforms)
• Exposure to geospatial technologies or earth observation systems
• Security-minded engineering practices including tenant isolation and audit trails
• Modern distributed systems architecture experience
