About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential medical device organization in their search for a Field Reimbursement Manager to cover the South Region (TX, AZ, LA, NM). This is a remote, provider-facing role where you'll serve as a critical resource for healthcare providers navigating reimbursement complexities for an FDA-approved implantable therapy.
You'll work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure patient access, minimize coverage barriers, and provide expert guidance on coding, billing, and payer requirements across Medicare and commercial channels.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the reimbursement subject matter expert on coding, coverage, and payment for Medicare and commercial payers
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, provider offices, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, and hospital outpatient facilities
- Proactively and reactively address account-level and individual patient access issues by partnering with internal reimbursement teams and field sales colleagues
- Conduct on-site visits for billing and coding training, audit education, and program reviews
- Respond to requests for business reviews and reimbursement support from customers and internal partners
- Execute strategic access and reimbursement priorities, identifying and prioritizing key accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, and Legal/Compliance
- Develop reimbursement presentations for trainings, site visits, and customer meetings
- Monitor market dynamics and payer policy changes affecting implantable device coverage
- Ensure all activities align with quality system procedures, applicable regulations, and compliance standards
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, science, or healthcare administration
- 7+ years of experience in reimbursement/market access with complex insurance payer claims, denials, and appeals (Medicare and commercial)
- Demonstrated knowledge of coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices across multiple sites of service
- Direct experience engaging with healthcare providers in group educational settings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to deliver in-person and virtual presentations
- Strong independent and team-oriented problem-solving skills with diligent follow-up
- Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders on project management
- Ability to travel regularly, up to 25%
Preferred:
- Implantable medical device experience
- Experience with neurology products
- Coding certification (CPC, COC)

Pay
The client has indicated a salary range of $160,000–$190,000 USD for this position, with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
