Werkstudent Data QA & Algorithm Benchmarking (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology client in Münster seeking a working student to support data quality assurance and algorithm benchmarking. In this role, you will:

• Evaluate the accuracy of existing test datasets and develop new metrics for algorithm evaluation
• Identify and integrate test data for edge cases, such as complex architectural structures and challenging environmental conditions
• Research and source new test datasets, working to automate their integration where possible
• Execute benchmarking pipelines to quantitatively assess both algorithm performance and data quality
• Visualize and communicate analysis results clearly, developing actionable recommendations for the team
• Implement and test improvements to benchmarking pipelines and algorithm parameters

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Current enrollment in an advanced Bachelor's or early Master's program in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Economics/IT, or a related field with a focus on Data Science or Statistics (valid enrollment certificate required)
• Strong analytical skills with enthusiasm for deep data exploration and statistical analysis
• Interest in working with complex algorithms in a demanding technical domain
• Team collaboration skills with a high standard for quality work
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and English (minimum B2 level)
• Availability for 12-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling
• Bonus: Prior experience in architecture, property technology, or Python programming
