Solutions Engineer – Italian Speaking

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking an Italian-speaking Solutions Engineer based in Paris. In this role, you will own the technical pre-sales relationship across opportunities and accounts, partnering with sales teams to demonstrate product capabilities and deliver consultative solutions.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Working with sales teams and prospects on their evaluation and adoption of the platform
• Understanding and qualifying customer goals with KPIs and effectively articulating technical capabilities to meet them
• Assisting in the sales process including discovery, demos, Proofs of Concept (POC), RFP responses and business justification
• Developing custom search applications leveraging available tools, frameworks, and partner ecosystems
• Distilling and advocating customer interests, needs and product feedback to relay to internal product and engineering teams
• Continuously learning and updating skills in the search and discovery space, contributing to thought leadership
• Collaborating with solution architects and customer success teams on seamless post-sales transitions to ensure successful onboarding

You will act as both a deep technical expert and a trusted advisor, presenting solutions to CTOs, collaborating with product managers, and building prototypes directly with customer engineers using APIs. You will thrive in conversations with engineers, product leaders, and executives, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Fluency in Italian and English
• 3+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, consultant, Product Manager), ideally in the SaaS space
• Previous software development experience in one or more areas:
• Front End: JavaScript, TypeScript, React
• Back-End: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C
• Experience with data formats and data transformation
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Superior organizational skills with ability to work with multiple customers and switch context quickly throughout the day
• Experience at high-growth SaaS companies

Nice to have:

• Additional European languages such as Spanish
• Background in the search industry or e-commerce
• Knowledge of frameworks such as Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools and similar
• Familiarity with emerging concepts in agentic AI systems (autonomous reasoning, tool use, or multi-agent orchestration)
• Knowledge in Analytics and SEO

This is a hybrid role based in Paris.
