You'll work directly with senior technical leadership to build and validate new product concepts—from rapid prototyping through production deployment—while leveraging modern development practices and AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Balance speed and quality while operating autonomously within a small, high-calibre team with minimal oversight
  • Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and produce clear technical documentation

  • 3–5 years of backend development experience with PHP or Python, databases, and frontend JavaScript
  • Proven track record delivering features end-to-end from concept to production
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to new technologies
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing priorities independently in a fast-moving team
  • Product-oriented mindset, translating user needs into practical, impactful solutions
  • Understanding of security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies
  • Experience with automated testing, code review, and technical documentation
  • Excellent English communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs and rationale
  • Comfortable working fully remote in a global, agile environment
  • Must be based in Germany with legal authorization to work

Strong signals:

  • Experience with analytics, reporting, data visualization, or AI/ML integrations
  • Background contributing to or building on open-source projects
  • Familiarity with UX principles and data-driven product design
  • Prior R&D or product prototyping experience
  • German language proficiency
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools to accelerate experimentation and quality
