Account Manager – Email Marketing

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential digital marketing organization seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead email marketing client relationships and campaign execution. This is a fully remote, full-time independent contractor position based in Bulgaria.

You'll serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring email campaigns deliver measurable results while maintaining strong client satisfaction. This role combines strategic thinking, platform expertise, and data analysis to drive performance across multiple client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, managing relationships and expectations
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee execution of email marketing campaigns and automated lifecycle flows
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing automation specialists to deliver campaigns on schedule
• Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
• Develop and optimize email marketing strategies aligned with each client's business objectives and KPIs
• Ensure all campaigns adhere to best practices for deliverability, segmentation, and personalization
• Prepare comprehensive performance reports and present campaign results to stakeholders
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and campaign schedules across multiple accounts simultaneously
• Stay current on email marketing trends, automation technologies, and industry developments

What We're Looking For

• 2–5+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM marketing, or digital marketing account management
• Proven track record managing client relationships in a marketing agency or similar environment
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or comparable tools
• Strong understanding of email marketing metrics and performance optimization techniques
• Experience building and managing marketing automation workflows, segmentation strategies, and lifecycle campaigns
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present campaign insights to clients confidently
• Highly organized with strong project management capabilities and attention to detail
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate campaign data into strategic recommendations
• Experience working with eCommerce or SaaS brands is a plus
