Clinical Payments Associate – Europe/LATAM – Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking a Clinical Payments Associate to join their European and Latin American operations team. This is a remote position based in Serbia, ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build expertise in clinical trial financial operations.

Our client is a mid-sized global CRO known for innovation and quality delivery across international clinical trials. This entry-level role offers broad exposure to payment workflows, cross-functional collaboration, and systems management within the clinical research industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage incoming support tickets and emails, routing them to appropriate team members
• Respond to payment-related queries from clinical sites, sponsors, and internal stakeholders regarding payment status, remittance details, and system access
• Prepare and distribute remittance documentation and payment confirmations
• Maintain accurate records of ticket assignments, communications, and issue resolutions
• Support system migration and study reconciliation activities by preparing data, maintaining trackers, and completing checklist-driven tasks
• Assist with collection, validation, and organization of study documentation required for migration or reconciliation projects
• Track progress and outstanding items during migration activities and escalate discrepancies to senior team members
• Provide general administrative support to the Clinical Payments team, including updating trackers and organizing documentation

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Finance, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing systems is advantageous
• Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
• Demonstrated interest in clinical research, healthcare, or financial operations
• No prior industry experience required; internships or administrative experience are a plus
