About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client building a unified financial platform. They are seeking a Founding Product Lead, Investments to own their stocks and ETFs product domain within a broader multi-asset ecosystem.

This is a remote contract position based in the UAE, requiring overlap with UK business hours. The role reports directly to executive leadership and requires someone who can define strategy, drive outcomes, and build product that integrates seamlessly across trading, spending, and crypto domains.

The core challenge is not building another standalone investing app—it's making long-term wealth accumulation feel native within a platform whose identity is rooted in active trading. Success means users deposit funds, hold assets on-platform, and become more engaged with the broader ecosystem, not just the investments tab.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy and delivery for stocks and ETFs: discovery, execution, portfolio management
• Design and optimize investment onboarding, funding flows, and first-investment experiences
• Build portfolio view and performance tracking that helps users understand what they own and how it's performing
• Deliver reliable, simple buy/sell/rebalance flows that work at scale
• Drive cross-pillar integration: unified asset views, spending from portfolio, card-linked features
• Define success metrics for a low-frequency, high-trust product where engagement patterns differ from daily-use domains
• Collaborate with squads across cards, crypto, and core accounts to build coherent user experiences without losing product ownership
• Grow AUM with clear attribution to product decisions, activation rates, and cross-sell behavior

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 8+ years in product, with meaningful experience in fintech, wealth management, brokerage, or adjacent domains
• Direct ownership of at least one of: investing or brokerage products, ETF or stock trading flows, wealth or savings products at scale
• System-level understanding of brokerage infrastructure, custody models, and settlement flows
• Track record owning outcomes—AUM growth, activation, retention, cross-sell—not just feature delivery
• Integration-first thinking: you understand the goal is ecosystem-native investing, not a standalone app

Strong signal:

• Experience at a multi-product fintech platform (neobank, brokerage, or super-app environment)
• Designing for low-frequency, high-trust financial behaviors
• Cross-pillar product integration (investing connected to payments, crypto, or cards)
• Tax-aware investing flows or experience in markets where tax efficiency drives product decisions
