Senior Proposal Associate – RFIs – Mexico/US – Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking a Senior Proposal Associate - RFIs to join their business development team. This is a fully remote position open to candidates in Mexico and the United States.

Our client is a global organization dedicated to advancing medical research through clinical trials. Their business development team works collaboratively to support client relationships and respond to information requests that enable new partnerships and study opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive responses to RFIs (Requests for Information), leading the writing, coordination, and presentation of responses in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other required formats
• Partner with account directors and subject matter experts to manage the RFI response development process effectively
• Participate actively in project discussions to ensure service offerings are clearly articulated in all responses
• Proofread, edit, rewrite, and revise documents to ensure readability, consistency, accuracy, and relevance
• Meet strict RFI deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, reviews, approvals, and signatures
• Serve as the focal point to collect information from various internal sources and stakeholders
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and customize content for specific requests
• Work independently to collate RFI responses from team discussions and internal libraries, requesting direct content from SMEs only when necessary
• Support content library maintenance by providing new and updated content developed through the RFI process
• Respond to routine and complex inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Manage high-complexity and high-priority projects with minimal supervision
• Support process improvement initiatives and resource management

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (degrees in Life Sciences, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing preferred)
• Minimum two years of professional experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical business development, operations, or a similar corporate environment
• Previous experience as a Proposal Associate working with RFIs
• Strong writing, project management, and time management skills with proven ability to deliver high-quality responses on tight deadlines
• Knowledge of the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry, including understanding of study design, project management, and operational requirements
• Experience drafting RFIs in a CRO or pharmaceutical/biotech outsourcing environment preferred
