Founding Product Lead, Accounts and Cards

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech client building a unified financial platform. As Founding Product Lead for Accounts and Cards, you will own the financial foundation that powers multi-asset trading, investing, and everyday spending in a single integrated system.

You will be responsible for:

• Defining and owning account structure and balance architecture across multiple asset classes
• Building wallet and liquidity infrastructure that enables seamless money movement throughout the platform
• Designing and optimizing the card experience to drive daily engagement and portfolio-linked funding behaviors
• Ensuring reliable, fast deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with exceptional UX simplicity
• Owning onboarding flows from activation through first funding and first transaction
• Managing end-to-end product lifecycle: strategy, discovery, requirements, delivery, and metrics
• Collaborating with crypto, trading, and investing product teams while maintaining clear domain ownership
• Navigating multi-region regulatory requirements and institutional-grade infrastructure constraints

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of product experience with significant time in fintech, payments, banking, or adjacent domains
• Direct ownership experience with core banking infrastructure, wallet systems, card products, or payment flows at scale
• System-level thinking with strong understanding of APIs, transaction flows, and event-driven architecture
• Proven track record of owning measurable outcomes like activation rates, funding rates, and transaction volumes
• High autonomy and ability to define problems independently, not just execute handed-down requirements
• Ability to work UK hours overlap on a UAE-based remote contract

Strong differentiators:

• Experience at multi-product fintech platforms with consumer-facing products
• Track record navigating multi-region regulatory environments
• Successfully built or scaled card products with demonstrable engagement metrics
