Senior Brand & Visual Designer (m/w/d) Elternzeitvertretung

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Brand & Visual Designer for a two-year parental leave cover in Berlin. As the sole designer in the team, you will work with significant autonomy and ownership to shape and evolve the visual identity across all channels.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining visual brand identity from creative concept through to consistent execution across digital and physical channels
• Collaborating closely with content, sales, partnerships, and product teams to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across all touchpoints
• Creating design elements for diverse formats including web, mobile, social media, email, presentations, and print materials
• Developing icons, illustrations, and simple animations to support brand communications
• Designing trade show booths, event materials, and branded merchandise aligned with brand guidelines
• Supporting executive leadership and partnership teams with presentation design, translating complex content into clear, compelling, brand-appropriate slides
• Maintaining and evolving master templates for sales presentations
• Presenting creative concepts confidently to senior stakeholders including the Head of Brand & Communications and CEO
• Managing multiple projects independently from initial concept through final execution
• Exploring and implementing new technologies, particularly generative image and video tools, into daily workflows

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a designer with substantial experience who can operate independently while collaborating effectively across teams:

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in B2B brand and graphic design within a dynamic fintech environment, with proven in-house brand team experience
• Fluent German and English language skills, written and spoken
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand sensibility and ability to deploy creative content effectively across multiple channels
• Excellent conceptual thinking and clear communication skills, with ability to present ideas persuasively and provide constructive feedback to diverse stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and self-direction, with ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple concurrent projects from concept to completion
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Ideally, practical experience with generative AI tools
• Passion for strong branding and willingness to experiment with creative approaches and challenge existing methods
• Motion design experience with 3D animation or animated video is a plus

This is a hybrid role based in Berlin (Charlottenburg) with a two-year fixed-term contract. The position offers flexible working hours, 28 days holiday, transportation benefits, and access to corporate benefits programs.
