Account Executive

Join Xplor as an Account Executive in our remote sales role, supporting merchants and business partners from anywhere in the United States. This is a full-time position based in Greensboro, NC, where we're building the future of commerce software and payment solutions.

What This Role Involves

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new merchant partnerships. You'll own the complete sales cycle—from initial outreach through contract negotiation—building long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers who depend on our platform to run their operations. Your work directly contributes to Xplor's growth while helping merchants unlock new revenue and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and qualify leads within assigned territories, focusing on merchants and businesses seeking payment and software solutions
• Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations to understand client needs and position Xplor's offerings competitively
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed quarterly targets
• Negotiate contract terms and manage the entire sales process from proposal to close
• Maintain detailed records in our CRM and provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure client success post-sale

What You Bring

• Proven track record in enterprise or B2B sales, with demonstrated success closing complex deals
• Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to understand client pain points
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities—both written and verbal
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the discipline to work independently in a remote environment
• Familiarity with payment processing, software, or merchant services is a plus
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tools
