About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential client in the Dearborn, MI area seeking an experienced Atlassian Jira Software Engineer. This is a hybrid contract engagement with an expected duration of 12–18 months. Our talent team is looking for a professional with strong hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, customizing, and supporting Atlassian Jira and Confluence solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Atlassian Jira configurations and customizations to meet business requirements
- Configure and optimize Jira and Confluence instances for enhanced team collaboration and workflow efficiency
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Atlassian platform solutions
- Implement custom workflows, fields, screens, and automation within the Jira environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Maintain documentation and best practices for platform usage and administration
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Atlassian Jira Software Engineer or similar role
- Strong hands-on expertise with Atlassian Jira and Confluence platforms
- Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and customize Jira solutions
- Experience with workflow design, automation, and scripting within Atlassian tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical support
- Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in the Dearborn, MI area
