Principal Solutions Architect (RSA) / Forward Deployed Engineer – CI/CD & Terraform

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consultancy seeking two experienced Principal Solutions Architects with deep CI/CD and Terraform expertise. This is a forward-deployed role combining architectural leadership with hands-on engineering. You will work directly with enterprise clients across the United States to design, build, and support scalable cloud and AI solutions from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and implementation for enterprise cloud infrastructure projects
• Work onsite or remotely with clients as a trusted technical advisor and delivery partner
• Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools and best practices
• Build infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform for complex, multi-cloud environments
• Guide clients through cloud modernization, migration, and AI solution adoption
• Remain hands-on through build, deployment, testing, and production support phases
• Collaborate with client engineering teams to establish scalable patterns and practices

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Staff Engineer, or Forward Deployed Engineer at enterprise scale
• Expert-level proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Strong background designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent client-facing communication skills and consultative approach
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced, client-driven environments
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
