Maintenance Mechanic $3.00/hour shift differential

RR Donnelley is hiring a full-time Maintenance Mechanic in Streetsboro, OH, where you'll support our manufacturing operations and earn a $3.00/hour shift differential for evening and overnight shifts. What This Role Involves

As a Maintenance Mechanic at our Streetsboro facility, you'll be responsible for keeping our manufacturing equipment running smoothly and safely. You'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain operational excellence across our printing and packaging operations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on production equipment and machinery
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble equipment components as needed
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work completed
• Collaborate with production operators to identify and resolve equipment challenges
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards are followed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or a related skilled trade
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand mechanical systems
• Comfortable working on equipment ranging from hydraulic to pneumatic systems
• Willingness to work shift schedules, including evenings and overnight hours
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly as part of the role
