Position Summary
As an IT Solutions Architect specialising in Java technologies, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade solutions. You'll work across our Bucharest technology hub and beyond, translating complex business requirements into robust, maintainable system architectures. This is a key technical leadership role that bridges business strategy and technical execution.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and architect Java-based enterprise solutions aligned with business objectives and scalability requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and implementation roadmaps
- Conduct technical reviews, code assessments, and architecture evaluations to ensure quality and compliance standards
- Mentor development teams on best practices, design patterns, and Java ecosystem technologies
- Manage solution lifecycle from conception through deployment, ensuring timely delivery and performance optimisation
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that strengthen our technical capabilities
What We're Looking For
- Proven expertise in Java application architecture and design across enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of microservices, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices
- Experience leading technical teams and communicating complex solutions to stakeholders
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, API design, and system integration patterns
