Product Engineer at SuperPlane - Anywhere in the World

Position Summary

We are hiring a product engineer to join SuperPlane and own meaningful projects end-to-end. This is a remote role, suitable for candidates within GMT+2 to GMT-3 time zones.

Core Duties

  • Build API endpoints or improve workflow engines one day, then polish React surfaces the next
  • Makes product and technical calls, asks for help when needed, and delivers features from start to finish
  • Works independently at a mid-level to senior level with experience in shipping real products

What We're Looking For

  • Genuinely full-stack with AI-driven workflow
  • Strong backend experience in a systems-oriented language, preferably Go (expertise not required)
  • Solid systems judgment for APIs, data models, reliability, and trade-offs
  • Comfortable with TypeScript and React as part of the modern frontend stack
  • Experience with cloud-native tooling and modern software delivery
  • Ambition for ownership rather than a narrow lane
  • Desire to work in an early-stage company with high pace, standards, and big upside

Working at SuperPlane

We operate across GMT+2 to GMT-3 time zones. At SuperPlane, we don't split engineering into frontend and backend; everyone is a well-rounded builder who moves across the stack. You will be part of a high-trust, high-pace environment where you can grow fast.

Applying for This Role

We care more about proof of work than polished applications, so before you apply, submit at least one pull request to superplane.com. To apply, complete your application directly on this page, or you'll be redirected to the employer's application platform to finish submitting there.

Apply on company site

You’ll finish your application on the employer’s website. We don’t ask for a resume on this page.

Working in

This SuperPlane Product Engineer role is remote and open to candidates anywhere in the world. Expect async collaboration across time zones, clear written updates, and self-managed focus blocks rather than a single office commute.

About this role & career path

Product engineering roles sit at the intersection of user needs and buildable systems—scoping work, drafting specifications, aligning with clients or internal partners, and iterating after feedback. Related task patterns on O*NET (SOC 17-2021.00) emphasize plans, stakeholder discussions, and monitoring delivery quality; treat that profile as a general engineering reference, not a SuperPlane-specific job description.

Prepare to walk through a product you shipped end-to-end: problem, constraints, tradeoffs, metrics, and what you would change. Practice system design at a practical level, debugging under ambiguity, and explaining technical choices to non-engineers. Expect questions on collaboration in a fully remote, global setup.

Strong fit if you enjoy owning product outcomes as well as code, communicate clearly in writing, and can drive work independently from anywhere. Thin public company data means you should verify SuperPlane’s product domain, stack, and team model during the process.
