Oracle Financials Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential government contractor seeking an Oracle Financials Developer for a fully remote, direct-hire position. This role requires an active Secret security clearance and offers the opportunity to work on critical financial systems supporting mission-essential operations. Our client needs a seasoned developer who can design, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Oracle Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management
• Build integrations between Oracle Financials and other enterprise systems to automate processes and ensure seamless data flow
• Create custom solutions using Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, and PL/SQL
• Support data migration initiatives, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of financial data from legacy systems
• Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance including patches and system upgrades
• Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications and configuration guides
• Implement security controls and ensure compliance with federal and organizational standards for financial data protection
• Stay current with Oracle product updates and identify opportunities for system enhancements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Active Secret security clearance required
• Proven experience as an Oracle Financials Developer working with Oracle E-Business Suite
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF, and Oracle Workflow
• Deep understanding of Oracle EBS data structures, APIs, and integration methodologies
• Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex business requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
• Oracle certifications related to Oracle Financials or EBS development preferred
