Position Summary
As an Adjunct Faculty - Pharmacist, you'll lead engaging pharmacy instruction across multiple delivery formats—face-to-face, hybrid, online, and remote classes—to meet the diverse learning needs of our students. You'll work with flexibility to teach day, evening, and weekend sessions across Prince George's Community College campuses, developing curriculum, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment in the classroom and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver pharmacy coursework using evidence-based teaching methods and current industry standards
- Prepare comprehensive lesson materials and course content for multiple instructional formats
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, exams, and practical demonstrations
- Coordinate course activities and manage classroom logistics across assigned teaching venues
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to foster student success
- Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum development initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current pharmacy licensure in Maryland or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical sciences, or related clinical areas
- Excellent communication skills and ability to teach diverse student populations
- Ability to adapt to evolving instructional technologies and delivery modes
- Professional commitment to student success and educational excellence
