About the Role
As our Groundskeeper, you'll be responsible for the landscaping, grounds maintenance, and outdoor upkeep that keeps Ascend Waterleigh Village welcoming and well-maintained year-round. You'll work independently and collaboratively to ensure all outdoor areas meet our high standards and enhance residents' daily experience.
What You'll Do
- Perform landscaping and turf maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, and seasonal plantings
- Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper watering schedules
- Remove debris, fallen branches, and seasonal waste from grounds
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and operate landscaping machinery safely
- Address minor repairs to walkways, fencing, and outdoor structures
- Respond to weather-related needs and emergency cleanup situations
- Keep grounds organized and follow safety protocols at all times
What We're Looking For
- Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or facilities maintenance
- Ability to operate common landscaping equipment and tools
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
