About the Role

You'll lead regional line and substation operations from our Arnold-based service center, managing day-to-day activities that keep the electrical grid running smoothly. This supervisory position combines hands-on technical knowledge with team leadership, requiring you to coordinate complex operations while maintaining uncompromising safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Direct and develop line crew members and substation operators across assigned territories
• Schedule and oversee maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and infrastructure upgrades
• Respond swiftly to outages, system failures, and emergency situations with effective problem-solving
• Enforce safety compliance, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures across all activities
• Monitor system performance metrics and recommend operational enhancements
• Plan and manage capital projects and preventive maintenance initiatives
• Supervise training programs and performance management for your team
• Coordinate with regional leadership on operational priorities and strategic initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in utility operations, electrical line work, or substation management
• Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems and substation equipment
• Proven ability to instill and maintain a safety-focused operational culture
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and capital projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
• Valid driver's license and comfort traveling throughout the service region
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical licenses or certifications a plus
