LPN – LPN

Casa De Oro Care Cen is looking for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care during night shifts in Doña Ana, Doña Ana County. This position offers stable, guaranteed work with consistent hours.

What This Role Involves

As an LPN at Casa De Oro Care Cen, you'll deliver direct patient care during evening and night hours (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), helping residents maintain health, comfort, and dignity. With 36 guaranteed hours each week over a stable 79-week contract, you'll be a consistent member of our clinical team, monitoring patient conditions and collaborating with nursing supervisors and physicians to ensure quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments under the direction of supervising nurses and physicians
• Monitor vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, and toileting
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and medical documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to implement individualized care plans
• Respond promptly to patient requests and concerns
• Support wound care and assist with medical procedures as directed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Current, active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in New Mexico
• Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain certification
• Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) consistently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
• Physical capability to perform patient care duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Compassion for patient care and commitment to professional standards
