MSG Entertainment Holdings is seeking a Counsel for Legal & Business Affairs focused on Real Estate, Construction & Venue Operations in New York City. Join our dynamic legal team and help shape the future of world-class entertainment venues.
About the Role
As Counsel for Legal & Business Affairs, you will drive legal strategy and provide business counsel across our real estate portfolio, construction initiatives, and venue operations. This full-time position is based in New York City and offers the opportunity to work with iconic entertainment properties including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, and Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden. You'll partner closely with operations, business development, and executive leadership to support our mission of delivering unforgettable live entertainment experiences.
What You'll Do
- Advise on real estate transactions, leases, and property management matters across MSG Entertainment's venue portfolio
- Oversee legal compliance and contract management for construction projects and capital improvements
- Negotiate and draft agreements with vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Counsel venue operations teams on regulatory requirements, licensing, and operational compliance
- Support business development initiatives with legal due diligence and transactional support
- Manage risk and ensure adherence to corporate policies and applicable laws
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar
- Demonstrated experience in real estate, construction law, or venue/entertainment operations
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of commercial real estate and construction law a plus
