About the Role
As a Student Associate Athletic Trainer at MSG Entertainment Holdings, you'll work alongside our medical and performance teams at world-renowned venues including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, and Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden. You'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional entertainment environment while contributing meaningfully to athlete and performer wellness during live events and rehearsals throughout the season.
What You'll Do
- Assess, treat, and provide immediate care for minor injuries and acute conditions
- Support injury prevention and conditioning programs for athletes and performers
- Monitor athlete and performer health, fitness, and wellness during events
- Assist with first aid and emergency response protocols at venues
- Maintain detailed records of injuries, treatments, and preventive care
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and coaching staff
- Inspect and maintain athletic training equipment and supplies
- Support pre-event preparation and post-event recovery procedures
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an athletic training program or related healthcare field of study
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before start)
- Genuine passion for sports, live entertainment, and athlete wellness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during the event season
- Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn in a professional setting
