Court Clerk

The City of Glendale is hiring a full-time Court Clerk to support the Glendale City Court, the judicial branch of Glendale city government and a key part of the Arizona Judicial System. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the administration of justice by managing critical court operations in a growing municipal court serving Maricopa County.

About the Role

The Glendale City Court adjudicates criminal misdemeanors, civil traffic violations, city code violations, and certain juvenile offenses committed within the City of Glendale. The court also issues protective orders in domestic violence and harassment cases. As a Court Clerk, you'll be essential to keeping these operations running smoothly and ensuring the public receives professional, efficient service.

What You'll Do

• Process and maintain court filings, documents, and records with accuracy and confidentiality
• Schedule hearings, manage court calendars, and coordinate proceedings
• Provide assistance to the public with case information, inquiries, and procedural questions
• Support judges and court personnel in daily judicial operations
• Ensure compliance with court procedures, rules, and Arizona judicial standards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Experience in a court, legal, or government office setting preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a public-facing, fast-paced environment
