Workday Financials/Professional Services Automation Senior Principal Consultant

We are representing a confidential enterprise technology organization in their search for a Workday Financials/Professional Services Automation Senior Principal Consultant. This is a remote opportunity based in the United States, working within a Global Application Managed Services (AMS) environment. Our client seeks a post-production professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced settings and understands the managed services delivery model.

In this role, you will leverage your functional expertise in Workday to support critical business operations, working collaboratively with distributed teams while maintaining high service standards for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onshore lead for Workday Professional Services Automation and Financials workstreams across assigned accounts
• Execute AMS methodologies and implementation activities for Workday Financial Services and PSA engagements
• Collaborate with offshore and nearshore teams on daily operations, incidents, root cause analysis, and service requests
• Ensure adherence to SLA constructs and service level commitments
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive high business impact
• Develop proactive reporting dashboards to improve platform utilization and support IT and business metrics
• Maintain the platform with focus on reporting, business process configuration, security administration, data loads, and audits
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Lead continual business process improvements and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
• Mentor and lead a team of consultants across multiple client engagements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 5-7 years minimum of Corporate Applications portfolio experience
• 3-5 years minimum in client-facing managed services roles within a global delivery model
• Workday Professional Services Automation certification (mandatory)
• Expert-level understanding of Workday Financials domain
• Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex incidents and provide best-practice recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Customer-focused mindset with willingness to go the extra mile
• Experience leading teams and ensuring quality delivery across multiple engagements
