Workday Financials Senior Principal Consultant, Accounting Center – Global AMS

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential professional services organization seeking a Workday Financials Senior Principal Consultant specializing in Accounting Center for their Global Application Managed Services (AMS) practice. In this role, you will:

• Serve as the onshore functional lead for the Financials workstream, specifically Accounting Center, for assigned client accounts
• Apply and execute AMS and implementation methodologies across Workday Financials engagements
• Collaborate with offshore teams on day-to-day activities, incident management, root cause analysis, and work requests
• Provide on-call support and holiday coverage as required
• Ensure adherence to SLA constructs and service level agreements
• Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to drive high business impact
• Proactively develop reporting dashboards to improve Workday utilization and support business metrics
• Work with clients to identify and resolve issues that could impact project scope or timeline
• Maintain the Workday platform including reporting, business process maintenance, security administration, data loads, and data audits
• Lead multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Drive continuous business process improvements
• Lead a team of Workday consultants across multiple client engagements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Workday Financials certification required
• Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Workday report writing and analytics
• Deep knowledge of Accounting Center functionality within Workday Financials
• Strong understanding of managed services constructs and SLA management
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex incidents and provide best practice recommendations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
• Customer-focused mindset with willingness to go the extra mile
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple deliverables simultaneously
