Procurement Specialist

We are representing a confidential technology services organization seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their operations in Spain. Our client requires a detail-oriented professional to enhance procurement oversight, ensure policy compliance, and optimize supplier relationships. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, multinational environment where you'll directly impact cost efficiency and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract terms to ensure compliance with internal policies and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Verify payments in internal systems against contractual agreements and company policies
• Oversee and facilitate competitive bidding processes
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with strategic vendors
• Support a procurement competence center to promote best practices and knowledge sharing
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational standards
• Perform additional duties consistent with the role as business needs evolve

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in controlling, finance, procurement compliance, procurement operations, or contract management roles
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail when reviewing contracts, payments, and documentation
• Results-oriented professional with confident, diplomatic communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working in multinational and cross-border environments is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
