Werkstudent:in Finance & Controlling (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential mobility technology scale-up in München seeking a working student (Werkstudent:in) to support their Finance & Controlling team. From day one, you'll take on real responsibility in the finance operations of a growing organization.

Your core tasks include:

• Supporting monthly and annual financial closing processes
• Handling bookkeeping entries in DATEV and supporting ongoing payment processing
• Creating, reviewing, and sending invoices and credit notes, including maintaining cost center, account, and supplier data in Excel and HubSpot
• Contributing to digitalization and automation projects, actively questioning recurring manual finance processes and bringing ideas for simplification using AI tools
• Supporting data maintenance and analysis, including country-specific evaluations and data imports
• Managing correspondence with customers and suppliers in daily operations
• Participating in cross-functional projects across departments

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Finance, BWL, VWL, or a comparable degree program
• Practical experience with invoice creation, account assignments, and budget-to-actual comparisons
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent German and English language skills, written and spoken
• High self-motivation, affinity for numbers, and open, communicative personality
• Experience working with common AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT, with enthusiasm for making finance processes smarter

Work arrangement: Working student contract for the duration of your studies, up to 20 hours per week during semester, up to 40 hours during semester breaks. Hybrid work model with option to work remotely within the EU. Location: München (Neue Balan).
