VA Caregiver Part Time

Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver to join Phoenix Home Care and Hospice serving the Lentner, Missouri community. In this Full Time position, you'll work directly with patients who need assistance with daily living activities and personal care. Your support will help our patients maintain independence and quality of life while remaining in the comfort of their homes. Your Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support patients with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity
• Assist with mobility and positioning to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Help maintain clean and safe patient environments
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and report changes in patient condition
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
• Follow care protocols and maintain patient confidentiality and privacy

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical ability to assist patients and perform lifting using proper techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassion, patience, and respect for patient dignity
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a care team
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
