Timberland: Store Manager – Christiana Mall

VFC is hiring a full-time Store Manager for our Timberland retail location at Christiana Mall in Newark, Delaware. As Store Manager, you'll lead our retail team, drive sales performance, and create an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Timberland brand's commitment to quality and authenticity.

About This Position

This Store Manager role is central to the success of our Timberland store in Newark. You'll oversee daily operations, manage a team of sales associates, and ensure our Christiana Mall location maintains the highest standards of customer service, merchandising, and financial performance. You'll report to the District Manager and work closely with the regional team to execute VFC and Timberland initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the store team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Drive sales growth and meet or exceed store financial targets through effective sales strategies and team motivation
• Oversee inventory management, merchandise presentation, and visual displays aligned with Timberland brand standards
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build customer loyalty through engagement and product expertise
• Manage store compliance with company policies, brand standards, and operational procedures
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure store environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven retail management experience, preferably in a specialty retail or branded environment
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop talent
• Demonstrated success driving sales and meeting financial targets
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Business acumen with comfort analyzing metrics and financial reports
• Knowledge of Timberland products or passion for outdoor and lifestyle retail
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and peak retail periods
