The Opportunity
As Assistant Principal at our Avondale campus, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive school culture while supporting students and faculty through collaborative leadership. This position allows experienced educators to advance their administrative career, contribute to school-wide improvement initiatives, and directly influence student outcomes in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of school policies, procedures, and instructional programs that drive student achievement
- Provide coaching and professional development support to teachers through classroom observations and feedback
- Manage student discipline, attendance, and conduct matters with fairness and consistency
- Oversee day-to-day school operations, including scheduling, facility coordination, and program implementation
- Collaborate with the principal and leadership team on data analysis, school improvement planning, and strategic decision-making
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community members
Qualifications
- Valid state administrative or educational leadership certification (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree and prior teaching experience demonstrating instructional expertise
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with student discipline, school operations, and improvement initiatives
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
