About the Role
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at OutSystems, you'll sit at the intersection of software engineering and operations, applying development principles to the infrastructure that keeps our services running smoothly. This is a hybrid, onsite position based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where you'll design and maintain platforms built for scale, stability, and uptime. Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure designed for exceptional reliability and availability.
- Apply software engineering practices to solve complex operational and infrastructure challenges.
- Improve system resilience by reducing toil, automating manual processes, and strengthening monitoring and alerting.
- Partner with development teams to ensure services are production-ready, observable, and performant at scale.
- Investigate incidents, lead troubleshooting efforts, and drive long-term fixes that prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Substantial hands-on experience in site reliability engineering, infrastructure, or operations roles.
- Strong software engineering foundation with the ability to write code that automates and improves systems.
- Proven track record building and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, observability, and incident response practices.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine drive to make systems more reliable and efficient.
