Sr. Leadership and OD Consultant – Remote

Velera seeks an experienced Sr. Leadership and OD Consultant to join our team in a full-time remote position serving clients throughout the USA. This is an opportunity to drive transformational change in organizations by combining strategic organizational development expertise with executive coaching and leadership advisory.

Position Summary

We're looking for a senior consultant who excels at helping organizations and their leaders navigate complex challenges, build high-performing teams, and sustain meaningful change. In this remote role, you'll partner directly with C-suite executives and leadership teams to design and implement organizational development strategies, develop future leaders, and strengthen organizational capability. You'll bring a blend of consulting acumen, psychological insight, and business savvy to unlock organizational potential.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive organizational assessments and diagnose root causes of leadership and culture challenges
• Deliver executive coaching and develop senior leaders through tailored advisory and feedback-intensive programs
• Design and facilitate team development interventions to improve collaboration, accountability, and performance
• Guide clients through organizational change initiatives, from strategy alignment to implementation support
• Create customized leadership development curricula and facilitate workshops for emerging and established leaders
• Partner with HR, talent, and business leaders to integrate organizational development into talent and succession strategies
• Build client relationships and identify opportunities to expand your impact across client organizations

Who We're Looking For

• Advanced degree in business, organizational development, psychology, or related field, or equivalent years of consulting experience
• 8+ years of experience in organizational development, executive coaching, management consulting, or organizational change
• Coaching certification (ICF or equivalent) or strong coaching experience demonstrated across multiple client engagements
• Deep expertise in leadership development, organizational assessment, team effectiveness, and change management
• Proven ability to build trust quickly, ask powerful questions, and guide clients toward insights and action
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
• Self-directed and able to thrive in a remote, consultant-driven environment
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to move clients from complex problems toward clear solutions
