Vice President, Reliability and Technical Assurance, Global

Vantagedc seeks an experienced Vice President of Reliability and Technical Assurance to lead our global technical operations across our 2 locations. This is a full-time leadership role for a strategic thinker ready to shape infrastructure resilience at scale.

Role Overview

As Vice President of Reliability and Technical Assurance, you'll own the vision and execution of enterprise-grade reliability standards across Vantagedc's global footprint. You'll partner with senior leadership to define technical strategies that protect operational continuity, mitigate risk, and support our customers' most critical workloads. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with executive leadership, driving systemic improvements that affect thousands of deployments worldwide.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce comprehensive reliability frameworks, standards, and best practices across infrastructure systems
• Lead technical teams in designing, testing, and validating resilience strategies for high-availability environments
• Oversee incident response protocols, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to integrate reliability requirements into architecture and deployment processes
• Manage compliance, security audits, and third-party assessments relevant to infrastructure assurance
• Report on reliability metrics, system performance, and risk posture to executive stakeholders
• Travel between locations as needed to support teams and assess operational maturity

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems reliability, or technical operations leadership
• Proven track record leading technical teams and driving organizational change at scale
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, high-availability architecture, and incident management
• Strong background with cloud platforms, virtualization, or data center infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for executive audiences
• Demonstrated commitment to mentoring engineering talent and fostering engineering excellence
