Team Lead HR Service Desk

Vanderlande is seeking a Team Lead HR Service Desk to join our Marietta, Georgia office. In this full-time role, you'll lead a dedicated team providing strategic HR support to our global workforce, managing service delivery, team development, and employee relations initiatives.

The Opportunity

As Team Lead for our HR Service Desk at our Marietta, GA location, you'll oversee daily operations of a high-performing support team while serving as the primary escalation point for complex employee relations matters. Your Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Service Desk professionals, fostering skill development and performance excellence
• Manage HR service desk operations including ticket management, SLA compliance, and response time optimization
• Address employee inquiries across HR functions: benefits administration, payroll support, policy guidance, onboarding assistance, and leave administration
• Serve as escalation authority for complex cases, providing resolution and guidance to team members and employees
• Monitor team productivity and service quality metrics while driving process improvements and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and cross-functional departments to align service delivery with organizational priorities
• Support HR documentation, training initiatives, and knowledge management to ensure consistent, compliant service delivery

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Service Desk, HR support, or customer service experience with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, payroll processes, and benefits administration fundamentals
• Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop team members in a customer-focused environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain HR concepts to diverse audiences
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, ticketing systems, and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and composure under pressure
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• SHRM, CIPD, or comparable HR credential a plus
