Veradigm is seeking a Health Economics & Outcome Researcher to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to advancing healthcare value through rigorous economic analysis and outcomes research.
The Opportunity
As a Health Economics & Outcome Researcher at Veradigm, you'll play a vital role in generating evidence that demonstrates the clinical and economic value of healthcare interventions. Working within a collaborative environment that bridges clinical, operational, and analytical expertise, you'll be instrumental in shaping how healthcare organizations make informed decisions about treatment options and care delivery models. This position is based in Raleigh, NC and offers the ability to impact real-world health outcomes through data-driven research.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct health economics and outcomes research studies using rigorous methodologies
- Analyze healthcare claims data, electronic health records, and clinical datasets to evaluate treatment effectiveness and economic impact
- Develop and validate economic models that assess cost-effectiveness and budget impact of clinical interventions
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize existing evidence to support research conclusions
- Collaborate with clinical, epidemiological, and technology teams to ensure research aligns with real-world healthcare challenges
- Present research findings to internal stakeholders, clients, and healthcare organizations
- Document research methodologies and maintain compliance with regulatory and ethical standards
What You Bring
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Economics, Biostatistics, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in health outcomes research or health economics analysis
- Proficiency with statistical software and data analysis tools (SAS, R, Python, or similar)
- Strong understanding of healthcare data, study design principles, and research methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex analyses to diverse audiences
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously
- Commitment to accuracy, integrity, and ethical conduct in research
