About the Role

As a UX Content Spec/Strategist with BCforward in Lauderdale, Ramsey County, you will craft the words that guide people through interfaces, products, and experiences. This is a 12-month contract engagement (Job ID 374595) with a pay range of $46–$51 per hour (W2), offering a focused chance to influence how users read, understand, and act on digital content. The position is on-site in the Lauderdale, Ramsey County area.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine in-product content, including microcopy, navigation labels, error messages, and instructional text, that feels intuitive and consistent.
• Build content strategies that align user needs with business goals across the product experience.
• Partner closely with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to integrate content seamlessly into the design process.
• Establish and maintain voice, tone, and terminology standards to keep messaging cohesive across touchpoints.
• Use research insights and usability feedback to test, iterate, and improve content over time.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in UX writing, content design, or content strategy for digital products.
• Strong command of clear, concise writing tailored to user context and intent.
• Comfort collaborating within cross-functional product and design teams.
• Familiarity with content systems, style guides, and design tools used in modern UX workflows.
• Ability to balance user advocacy with practical product and business considerations.
