Associate, Maintenance Lead

VFC is hiring an Associate Maintenance Lead to join our Ontario West Coast DC facility in California. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead maintenance operations while ensuring facility performance, equipment reliability, and safety across our West Coast data center.

Role Overview

As an Associate Maintenance Lead at VFC's Ontario, California location, you'll take on a supervisory role within our maintenance operations, overseeing daily maintenance activities and supporting team coordination at the West Coast DC. In this full-time position, you'll balance hands-on maintenance expertise with leadership responsibilities, contributing directly to facility reliability and operational success.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance team activities on assigned shifts
• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance operations
• Inspect equipment, diagnose technical issues, and oversee repairs
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements
• Document and track maintenance work orders and operational records
• Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance priorities
• Train team members on maintenance procedures, tools, and best practices
• Identify and implement improvements to maintenance efficiency and facility uptime

Skills & Qualifications

• Substantial experience in maintenance, facilities operations, or related field
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting capability
• Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
• Physical capability to perform routine maintenance duties
