About the Role

As Supervisor at our Timberland store in Newark, you will oversee daily operations and lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll support strategic initiatives, maintain operational excellence, and contribute to achieving sales targets while upholding the premium brand standards Timberland is known for.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and mentor store staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure a motivated, engaged team
• Assist with scheduling, time management, and labor budget optimization to maintain operational efficiency
• Support sales initiatives and drive customer engagement to meet or exceed store performance goals
• Monitor inventory accuracy, merchandise presentation, and visual standards across the store
• Handle customer issues and escalations with professionalism and sound judgment
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, and brand guidelines
• Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and loss prevention measures

Requirements

• Proven retail supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams
• Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem-solving
• Competency with retail point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; retail management experience preferred
• Passion for outdoor brands and the Timberland heritage is a plus
