Supplier Quality Manager

Woodward is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at our Fort Collins Drake Campus location. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive supplier excellence and quality across our supply chain.

About the Role

As Supplier Quality Manager at Woodward in Fort Collins, you'll serve as a critical link between our engineering, procurement, and supplier partners. This role is designed for someone passionate about quality excellence who thrives on building collaborative relationships while maintaining rigorous technical standards. You'll oversee supplier performance, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives that support our operations and customer commitments.

What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and monitor supplier quality programs and standards
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements
• Analyze quality metrics and supplier performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Lead corrective action initiatives with suppliers to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams on supplier selection and development
• Maintain documentation and traceability records for supplier quality activities
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance supplier processes and our overall supply chain

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing supplier quality, vendor relations, or quality systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent quality frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
• Project management experience and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, business, or related field is preferred
• Professional quality certification (ASQ CQE or similar) a plus
