Staff Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Staff Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements, optimize production workflows, and mentor engineering teams across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll bridge design and production, ensuring world-class quality and efficiency standards. This position is ideal for an engineer with proven expertise in manufacturing systems, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration who is ready to make a measurable impact on a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling strategies, and production methodologies
• Lead root cause analysis on production challenges and deliver sustainable solutions
• Collaborate with product design, supply chain, and quality teams to enhance manufacturability and reduce costs
• Establish process specifications, work instructions, and inspection criteria to maintain quality standards
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor
• Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and automation opportunities
• Document processes, track key performance indicators, and report progress to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of professional manufacturing or process engineering experience
• Proven track record in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools
• Strong understanding of quality systems, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Experience in aerospace, defense, industrial, or precision manufacturing preferred
