Join Woodward's manufacturing team in Deerfield Beach, Florida as a CNC Machinist/Operations Technician on our first shift. We're looking for a skilled and reliable professional to help us produce precision components that matter.
About This Position
This is a full-time, first-shift role where you'll operate, maintain, and troubleshoot computer numerical control (CNC) machinery in our Deerfield Beach facility. You'll play a critical role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring that every component meets our strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to engineering specifications and technical drawings
- Set up and calibrate CNC equipment before production runs, including tool changes and program verification
- Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality, using precision measurement instruments
- Monitor machine performance during production, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and keep your work area clean and organized
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience operating CNC machines (or equivalent technical training in machining)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable attendance and a safety-conscious mindset
