What This Role Involves

Our Finance Rotation Program is designed to fast-track promising financial talent through key areas of our organization. As a Finance Rotation Program Member, you'll spend focused periods in different finance departments—such as accounting, financial planning and analysis, audit, or treasury—gaining practical experience in how we manage and optimize financial performance across Woodward. You'll work on real projects, contribute meaningful analysis, and build a comprehensive understanding of our financial operations while receiving mentorship from seasoned finance leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial operations, reporting, and analysis across assigned departments during each rotation cycle
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Assist in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis initiatives
• Execute transaction processing, account management, and compliance procedures
• Contribute to process improvements and automation opportunities within finance functions
• Participate in cross-functional projects and special finance initiatives
• Document processes and maintain accuracy of financial records and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial software systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a compliance-driven environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt as you transition between departments
• Willingness to learn and professional development mindset
