Strategic Sourcing Manager

WMG is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead procurement strategy and vendor relationships from our New York office at 1633 Broadway. This full-time position offers the opportunity to optimize sourcing operations and drive cost-effective vendor partnerships across the organization.

About This Position

As Strategic Sourcing Manager, you'll develop and execute procurement strategies that support WMG's business objectives while managing supplier relationships and optimizing spend. Your work will span vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and performance management—all critical to securing quality services and materials at competitive costs. Based at our 1633 Broadway headquarters in New York, you'll collaborate across departments to understand sourcing needs and deliver sustainable supplier partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business requirements and cost targets
• Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers; establish and maintain vendor relationships
• Conduct spend analysis and market research to identify cost savings and efficiency gains
• Manage request-for-proposal and request-for-quote processes
• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to maximize value
• Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify sourcing requirements and communicate results
• Monitor supplier performance and address quality, delivery, or service issues
• Track industry trends and supplier capabilities to inform procurement planning

What You Bring

• Demonstrated background in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and business-case development skills
• Experience with procurement systems and proficiency in spreadsheet-based analysis
• Excellent cross-functional communication and project management abilities
• Attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in procurement or supply chain
