What This Role Involves

As our External Communications and Press Office Intern, you'll work within our communications team to support the day-to-day operations of our press office and external communications function. You'll gain hands-on experience in media relations, content development, and corporate communications whilst contributing to meaningful projects that reach our key audiences and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Assist in drafting and preparing press releases and media statements for distribution
• Support media monitoring activities and compile relevant coverage reports
• Help maintain and update our media contact database and press materials
• Contribute to the development of communications content across multiple channels
• Provide administrative support to the communications team as needed
• Attend and assist with media events and press briefings
• Research industry trends and competitor communications strategies

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently studying or recent graduate in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related discipline
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Keen interest in media relations and external communications
• Proficiency in MS Office and comfortable with digital communication tools
