Strategic Valuation & Modeling – Senior

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial advisory firm seeking a Strategic Valuation & Modeling Senior consultant in Lyon, France. Our client works with corporate leaders, shareholders, financial institutions, and investors on complex financial decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact valuation and modeling engagements while developing your expertise in a growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation assignments for equity securities and corporate assets in transaction and restructuring contexts
• Conduct intangible asset valuations including purchase price allocations, brand valuations, and intellectual property assessments
• Value financial instruments such as management incentive packages
• Build and manage financial models for project finance, leveraged buyouts, public-private partnerships, and business planning scenarios
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and deliver multidisciplinary advisory combining finance, accounting, tax, and legal considerations
• Supervise and mentor junior team members on engagement delivery
• Contribute to practice development and business growth initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Advanced degree from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent university program
• 2 to 5 years of experience in financial advisory, ideally with a focus on valuation and financial modeling
• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with attention to detail
• Excellent client management skills and comfort building relationships
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); working knowledge of a second foreign language is a plus
• Proficiency in financial modeling tools and valuation methodologies
• Eagerness to invest in the growth and culture of the practice
