Staff Product Manager – Physical AI/Robotics

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a core component of their Physical AI platform. This is a ground-up rebuild opportunity where you will shape the product from inception.

In this role, you will:

• Run discovery in the field and spend significant time in front of enterprise customers to understand complex engineering and industrial workflows
• Own product decisions from problem identification to validated concept, including use case definition, customer proof points, and business case development
• Ship products within a small squad, setting roadmap priorities and sequencing work across Research, Data Science, Engineering, and Forward Deployed Engineering teams
• Drive execution on capabilities spanning agentic experiences, applied AI workflows, and enterprise integrations
• Maintain cross-functional stakeholder alignment by creating clear, accessible product narratives that communicate what you're building, why, and what's next
• Mentor other product managers across the organization while setting high standards for technical depth, product judgment, and customer empathy

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Significant experience in product management, product strategy, technical programme leadership, or related roles with a proven track record of turning complex technologies into customer outcomes
• High versatility with demonstrated ability to work across multiple technical domains such as ML modeling, generative AI, agentic workflows, robotics, advanced manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, or data engineering
• Strong technical fluency—comfortable discussing APIs, architecture diagrams, deployment models, AI systems, and platform trade-offs with engineers, researchers, and technical customers
• Proven cross-functional leadership skills, aligning diverse teams across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and commercial functions while managing technical dependencies
• Deep customer empathy with curiosity for understanding complex engineering and industrial workflows, diagnosing friction points, and identifying where new technologies can create fundamental improvements
• Absolute execution focus with ability to build clarity from ambiguity, move between strategy and hands-on delivery, and drive initiatives from concept through launch

Preferred qualifications:

• Background in engineering, physical research, robotics, advanced manufacturing, or applied data science, including experience with physical systems, industrial environments, sensor data, or complex engineering workflows
• Familiarity with generative AI, machine learning, or cloud infrastructure platforms and experience translating emerging technologies into real-world customer applications
• Experience with AI-assisted coding or prototyping tools—our client values PMs who are builders first and regularly use technology to explore ideas and validate concepts
