Solution Architect – Client Solutions (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Solution Architect to serve as the critical bridge between client stakeholders and engineering teams. In this role, you will spend significant time in direct client engagement, listening carefully to understand customer challenges and translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications for development teams.

You will design solution architectures that align with both client requirements and internal system landscapes, thinking holistically about systems, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies. Your work will involve formulating API and integration requirements while engaging in technical discussions with developers about implementation approaches and their implications.

You will guide projects from initial requirements through implementation, ensuring technical concepts become functioning solutions. As the connector between clients, project teams, and engineering, you will bring clarity to complex topics: identifying core problems, defining technical needs, and determining viable implementation paths. You will structure complexity, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and maintain oversight across multiple concurrent projects.

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or training in computer science, business informatics, economics, or comparable field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, product management, software development, or similar roles at the intersection of business and technology
• Strong technical understanding of software architectures, data flows, interfaces, and API design; development background is advantageous but not mandatory
• Exceptional client orientation with ability to understand customer problems and translate business requirements into clear, implementable technical specifications
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with engineering teams; capable of discussing technical topics at peer level, communicating complex concepts clearly, and developing pragmatic solutions with developers
• Interest in wealth management, financial technology, and SaaS with willingness to deeply understand technical and domain contexts
• Experience with agile methodologies, strong organizational skills, and ability to bring together different stakeholders while guiding solutions through structured implementation
• Native-level German proficiency and excellent English written and verbal communication skills
