About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the education technology sector who is seeking experienced aviation professionals to coach aspiring and early-career candidates in the field. As part of our talent team at Get A Job.ai, we're looking for coaches who can guide students through pilot training pathways, aircraft maintenance, air traffic control, aviation technology, and the broader landscape of commercial aviation operations.

This is a flexible, virtual coaching role where you'll set your own schedule and rates while helping students build technical knowledge, navigate licensing and certifications, understand flight safety standards, and develop career skills including resume development, interview preparation, and networking strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to students pursuing careers in aviation across airline, military, or general aviation contexts
• Guide students through technical topics including pilot training, aircraft maintenance, air traffic control procedures, and aviation technology
• Help students understand aviation regulations, licensing requirements, and certification pathways
• Advise on commercial aviation and airline operations topics such as crew management and route planning
• Support students with resume and cover letter review, LinkedIn profile optimization, and networking strategies
• Conduct interview preparation sessions and provide guidance on salary negotiation
• Offer freelancing and independent contractor guidance for students pursuing non-traditional aviation careers
• Deliver virtual coaching sessions with a clear, structured approach tailored to individual student needs

What We're Looking For

• Significant professional experience in aviation, whether in commercial airlines, military aviation, or general aviation
• Prior mentoring, teaching, or coaching experience with a track record of helping others develop professionally
• Deep knowledge of aviation regulations, licensing and certification processes, and flight safety standards
• Understanding of commercial aviation operations including crew management and operational planning
• Clear, structured communication style with the ability to break down complex technical concepts
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, supportive coaching experiences
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a support team
• Availability to host virtual coaching sessions on a flexible schedule

Pay
